Life outstretched between amazing resilience and scary fragility

All in line with the motto for our journey to Hawaii in 2015 »nature – about soft approaches, intense encounters and bizarre alienations« we present our first video from a series that’s going to follow during the next months.

It happened in our house high above the Pacific in Holualoa village overlooking the Kailua-Kona coastline in the midst of a jungle-like vegetation. We had all sorts of guest from all sorts of species up there. This magical place opened our eyes for a deeper insight into the magic of life, while at home in our noisy entertainment addicted cities and our with sentimental feelings overloaded countrysides the peaceful silent niches to observe with curiosity the emergence of life became rare.

If you are going to watch this video miniature, you may intuitively grasp the incredible resilience life is equipped with from the very beginning and in the same time the fragility that makes death a close ally in every second we live. And this applies – at least that’s what we think – to all living creatures.

The freshly born gecko crawling along the floor of our office room could have been killed by one of our foot steps from one moment to the other. On the other hand the kid was able to survive on its own, robust and self-confident knowing what to do to survive. But watch yourself, the pictures are so strong and don’t need more superfluous words.

A remark at the end because you may ponder: „What the heck does this have to do with BIESTMILCH“. It’s actually simple. Right from the beginning of our lives BIESTMILCH endows us with a resilience that casts its positive shadow into our adult lives. Why then is this substance so much under scrutiny and ridiculed so very often. We ask ourselves this question every other day.

Susann

Susann is the biest prototype and head of the team. She is Austrian, has studied medicine, meaning she is a medical doctor and the Biesters' alpha wolf. Susann continuously produces new ideas, is strong in making concepts and is practically always ON FIRE. Without her BIESTMILCH wouldn't be where and what it is today, and anyway - not possible.
