Alcúdia, Mallorca 2013
Only one week ago we have been on Mallorca. It was our test event with the new BIESTMILCH outfit, the prototype set-up for the races that are yet to come. This year is dedicated to the BIEST BOOSTER and its launch as integral part of the race nutrition. But we were not only extremely busy with our own stuff. We also followed our Biest athletes Yvonne van Vlerken, Rinalds Sluckis from Latvia, and Mark Hughes from the UK.
In St. George the North American championships on the 70.3 distance took place in the beginning of May on a very challenging course in a magic landscape. One can say it is a race that is made for Sebi. Unfortunately, he was not perfectly fit, but gave it a try anyway. He is not a guy who is hiding, he is always ready to take up the fight...
This short video was shot at sunset in the energy lab in Kona 2012 a few days before the Ironman world championships in Kona, Hawaii. At this time we didn't imagine Sebastian crossing the finish line after a flat on 4th place. It was his first start in Hawaii, an extraordinary performance.
Yvonne is already an oldie on the »Biest of Best« team. She has been European champion and she finished second on Hawaii already. This year she wants to celebrate her comeback after quite some draw-backs she experienced recently. The second place at IRONMAN Melbourne may be the first indicator.
Andi is now for a little bit more than one year on the »Biest of Best« team. His career is still young and we are sure there is more about to come. He was already European champion and finished Hawaii on 8th place. He is a very serious young man who knows to take over responsibilities. His heart is not solely beating for triathlon but also for his family he is caring a lot for.
Finally we are taking off into the racing season 2013. Abu Dhabi is a demanding race at a time of the year when fitness for most athletes has not yet reached its peak. 200 lonely kilometers on the bike and running 20k on hot asphalt without any shade are not easy jobs to do. Yvonne van Vlerken, Andi Boecherer and Chris McCormack came there for a fitness check. But listen yourself to their very personal race experience. It does not need many words from me here.
This is a piece of video I really do love. It shows our gladiators getting ready for the fight on race morning behind the King Kamehameha Hotel. The clip is like lyrics before the remorseless prose text of the race begins.
Yvonne and I know each other now since 5 years. She was one of the athletes who connected so very fast with Biestmilch, and understood the advantages this substance has for her body and her mind. Behind Yvonne are some very difficult months, but now she is back with a joy in her that is amazing. We are curious to see how her season goes at it progresses. It will be exciting, she has courageous goals ... Abu Dhabi, Melbourne, Roth, las Vegas ....
We gave you our standard dosage guidelines for training before. But using Biestmilch is a very individual thing. Everyone of you has to find out how to get out the optimal out of this marvelous substance for him or herself. After Chris McCormack and Sebastian Kienle we now want to forward to you the path to Biestmilch that Rachel, Ronnie and Andi haven chosen for themselves.
We just posted our recommendations of use. Maybe you are interested how our 2 world champions Chris and Sebi currently train and how they integrate Biestmilch into their training.
