Oriental Rhapsody, 1-3

The Orient has been fascinating for us ever since. Our ancestors have been traveling East under great danger to bring back the most precious goods to Europe. A vibrant commercial exchange started has never stopped overshadowed by lots of violence until today. After the dark period of colonialism independent countries appeared on the map of Arabia that with the traditions and habits remained mostly strange to us.
When the oil was discovered on the Arabic peninsula small unimportant desert states became catapulted into the focus of world politics. They developed into the most spectacular places one can imagine and attract people from all over the world. In the Arabic Emirates you can se what money makes possible, and what money is able to destroy.

Street Notes Abu Dhabi: the fascination of a City

Triathlon Abu Dhabi was not really the event for us! Chris got injured, Andi cramped... 2 DNFs, only Yvonne, our blond flying Dutch girl finished 5th and achieved her goals. Nevertheless, we made the best out of our stay and brought back some of the fascination of this place where wealth, tradition, Orient and Occident collide.

Biestmilch’s Biest of Best 2012

with our »Biest of Best« Review 2012 finally ends. Enjoy the summary of a year that has passed so fast that we almost forgot where we have been all-around... Tasmania was leg one and it all ended in Kona with business as usual. We had exciting and amusing hours with our athletes, and we had an incredible success with our BIEST BOOSTER Experiment. It opened the way for the BIEST BOOSTER to become an integral part of the race nutrition in endurance sports. Thanks guys for your encouraging feedback.

BBex commercials with Yvonne & Ronnie

Our 2 protagonists Yvonne van Vlerken and Ronnie Schildknecht are totally convinced of the BIEST BOOSTERS effects.

Yvonne is very carefully in taking BOOSTERS because she is reacting very sensitively to it. She takes it before the race and during races, and spares the Booster for especially strenuous workouts. She warmly recommends to seize the opportunity to put the BOOSTER to test. Everybody needs to find out her or himself how benefit most from it, that is her credo.

Ronnie is absolutely hooked on BOOSTERS. You could call him a real BOOSTER type. His body can absorb a lot of it. He warmly recommends to seize the opportunity to test the BOOSTER. Maybe you get a similar benefit out of it as Ronnie. Ronnie boosters out of conviction.

Some musings on doping and anti-doping by Bengt Kayser

a few days ago I received this paper on the doping dilemma from Bengt Kayser*. I think it is an interesting read, especially for pro athletes. It outlines the term clean as being very controversial. It denunciates the whole debate around anti-doping as being not clean by unreflectingly mixing the various discourses of interest be it political, scientific, moral or economical etc.. The decision-making processes are not transparent, agendas and coalitions blurry. I think Kayser's approach could be inspiring, and help to dissolve the stalemate between the white "NO" and the black "YES"...

Moderate exercise boosts immunity, but marathons could make you sick

Since we started our company for the sake of creating a market for Biestmlich/colostrum in 2000, we are vividly singing the song of immunity. A proper functioning immune system is the very base for peak performance, not only in sports.
We are extremely happy, if we find alliances that support our views. Mike Gleeson, Prof. of exercise biochemistry, is such a person. He did a lot of work on exercise and immunity. He was just quoted with his studies in the Huffington Post.

Regular moderate workouts on the contrary are the best approach to prevent chronic diseases. All together Biestmilch is a perfect substance to prevent illness, be it acute or chronic.

Walking on new territory…

Why a new blog theme again after only 9 months!

And again... it's is not even one year ago that we started working with a new wordpress theme. How come that I feel this incredible urge to launch a new one again. Time flies, and things change. Technical options increase, flexibility increases, and what happens is that one looses track and gets to playful. Playfulness may be indicated and fun sometimes, but if you fall in love with it and overdo it than functionality gets lost on the way.
This happened to me many times, and now I return back to simplicity. Work myself down to the foundation where complexity appears to be simple and apprehensive, and moreover is able to cross cultural borders.
