What is Biestmilch?

Biestmilch is the first milk a mother produces for her newborn. It nourishes the newborn during the first days. Biestmilch or colostrum – as it is called – contains biomolecules a newborn organism needs. Biestmilch introduces cells, organs and organic systems to life outside the womb. Biestmilch as a starter kit? Maybe!

Why is Biestmilch called Biestmilch?

The root of the word is Indo-Germanic. The beest or Biestmilch was the word for the first milk at the times of Old High German. Stomach, breast, chest, bartering all have the same root. How and why was Biestmilch taken in earlier days?

In earlier times, Biestmilch was reserved for the sick and weak as well as children and the elderly.

How does Biestmilch work?

Biestmilch unfolds its effect in the milieu between the cells. It modulates our well-being dependent on the initial condition. This means that an overactive organism is dampened, an underactive organism with organs and organic systems is stimulated.
The effect of Biestmilch becomes obvious in the strengthening of the immune system.

In which life situations should Biestmilch be taken?

Biestmilch can always be taken.
It doesn't matter whether for strengthening the immune system, when sick or for prevention purposes.

Biestmilch is usually well tolerated. If you suffer from lactose intolerance (milk sugar), then you have to be careful when starting to take Biestmilch. Whether you tolerate Biestmilch or not depends on how pronounced your lactose intolerance is. If you react well to milk in coffee, for example, then you can likewise take Biestmilch without thought. How significant is the difference in species between man and animal?

Whether we consider Biestmilch from a cow, a goat, a human or from any other mammal, the differences are marginal and insignificant. The reason: the molecules in living organisms are very flexible vivid particles and not stiff forms. They metamorphose continuously are made for interactions and communications.
The deeper molecular biology penetrates the structure of molecules, the less important the differences in the typal structure become. The form of a molecule determines its function. In doing so, it is not important whether it is a carbohydrate or a protein molecule.
The space to form of the secondary and tertiary structures – the folding of the molecules in space – is limited in comparison to the sheer endless amount on different sequences of the primary structures. In this finite space to form, each module can interact with every other. Contacts between the molecules are not always optimal but usually a gentle touch of many molecules suffices to send a signal. Is a signal sent, then this also causes an effect. It seems that Biestmilch molecules from a cow, for example, didn't really care what body they have entered. Biestmilch is successfully used for even iguanas.

Is there a fundamental difference between Biestmilch from a cow and from a goat?

No. Biestmilch from mammals differs only marginally. The fraction of fat in goat's Biestmilch is the only difference to that of a cow. It comprises finer drops than that of a cow. When producing Biestmilch, the fat is removed down to a small rest (ca. 2%) anyway, as Biestmilch containing too much fat would go off very fast.

Do Biestmilch and antibiotics agree with each other?

Antibiotics are substances that stop the growth of bacteria or kill them. The destroyed bacteria have to be removed from the immunocompetent cells. Some bacteria component works toxically and can cause symptoms of disease. In order to regenerate from a bacterial infection, antibiotics alone are sometimes insufficient. In order to become healthy, one also needs an intact immune system. That's why it is perfectly obvious that antibiotics and Biestmilch should be combined.

Are interactions between Biestmilch and other methods of treatment known?

Biestmilch can be well combined with various other methods of treatment. Homeopathic, acupuncture and  tissue salt methods of treatment have brought about especially positive results. Biestmilch should not be taken in combination with substances that could destroy the small active protein molecules in the Biestmilch. For this reason, it is not recommended to take Biestmilch in combination with enzyme preparations. This should take place time-displaced ( 2 to 3 hours).

How long should I take Biestmilch?

There is no easy answer to this question. How long you should take Biestmilch strongly depends on why you are taking Biestmilch. Without going into too much detail, one can generally say that you should go for a course of Biestmilch for at least 3 months. It doesn't really matter then, why you have decided to take Biestmilch, In that way you make use of its preventative potential.

Will the calf still get enough Biestmilch?

Yes!
Milking cows produce an excess of Biestmilch amounting to at least 70%. Please remember that many farmers throw away this valuable substance without thinking about it. The cow is seen as clever and sensitive.
