Biestmilch

What is Biestmilch?

Biestmilch is a food product. It is the name for the colostrum or the foremilk, this quintessentially natural substance, which is produced by the breasts of all female mammals for their offspring after the birth. Our Biestmilch originates from cows.

For what is Biestmilch good for?

The use of Biestmilch is all about the immune system and stress and its regulation, about becoming and staying healthy, about finding the way back to your balance or staying balanced. Biestmilch achieves all this in a very natural way, for it is quintessentially natural.

What is the effect of Biestmilch?

Biestmilch is like a second immune system, or something like a small immune system, if you call your own the big immune system. It modulates, i.e. it balances, is not activating and not suppressing, but both depending on the needs.

Quality and Raw Product

Raw material colostrum

Biestmilch or colostrum respectively is imported by us as powder from New Zealand. Product development and further processing takes place in Germany. To New Zealand's kettle farming apply the same standard regulation as do for organic certified products from Germany. The fluid form originates from Germany from strictly controled organic kettle farming.

Gentle manufacturing process

Most of the fat is extracted from the Biestmilch. Approx. 2% residual fat remains in the Biestmilch. Then the best part of the lactose is removed. A residual content of 5% to 7% remains. In principal, the processing into colostrum powder is effected in the same way as the processing of milk into milk powder.

How do you judge quality?

Biestmilch is of outstanding quality, because it is no older than 48 hours when gained. The quality of our Biestmilch is also determined by the fact that we take care to preserve all molecules. It is not treated with preservatives and not diluted with whey or other concentrated amino acids.

Thoughts about Biestmilch

Biest Biology

This is the biology of stress handling. The Biest biology has evolved from our work with Biestmilch. Whoever wants to get even a rough idea of the underlying operating principles of Biestmilch has to deal with complexity, modern immunology, neuro-endocrine immunology, the stress system and the regulation mechanisms for stress.

Biest Philosophy

Biestmilch goes beyond the scope of ordinary mainstream medicine. You will not find it in the textbooks for medicine and biology of the last 150 years. Therefore it is outright rejected by most mainstream medical practitioners. Therefore we read a lot and cross read to pick up interesting traces.

Stress : Immunity : Performance

No performance without intact immune system

Optimal performance on demand is only possible if the stress response of the body runs smoothly and well coordinated. The foundation for that is the perfect cooperation between immune and nervous system. The immune system in this case is not primarily a defense system but first and for all a regulatory system.

The danger of stress

From the American Scientific. Scientists succeeded to show that stress impairs healing processes. Intact immune functions are responsible for healing, subsequently it is suggested that a weak immunity hampers the self-healing properties of the body.

Stress response maintains equilibrium

The stress response is a strictly orchestrated biological process. The stress response adjusts the body to the manifold inner and outer conditions of life. The stress system processes stimuli following the always same defined rules.

Movement : Body Perception : Well-being

The economist has the advantage

If the muscle movement is efficient, you can train longer, because the increase of metabolites that induce muscle fatigue is slower, and heat production is less too. It is worthwhile in any case to consider the economy of work movements.

Body perception: ... a shoe is a shoe is not a shoe ...

Let us assume that we are dealing with the body/organism as a stimulus/signal/impulse processing and self-regulating machine. Then body perception could be described as the result of all the stimulus/signal/impulse going in to calculation.

Is training the art of finding out what it means to feel good?

To be able to perform at your best you really have to feel good. It is definitely not easy to know what it means to feel perfectly well. It happens many times that we get used to a condition and do not realize anymore that we are not really fit.

Endurance : Training : Recovery

Immunodeficiency: a common phenomenon in endurance athletes

If training is too hard or you are racing without recovering sufficiently disease symptoms may increase or appear. It is alarming that already young athletes between 15 and 20 years old suffer from unexplained pain symptomes, or the get sick with infections as soon as they increase their training volumes.

Motivation: the foundation of peak performance

Motivation describes a relationship to something. A motive is something that gives one an impulse to act. Hunger for example is a very stable motive. Hunger motivates you to eat. The motivation is so strong that the action is carried out without great effort. This needs not always be the case.

Regulation of body temperature

Without taking into consideration the temperature and humidity of the air or the wind speed the body temperature you can measure is usually around 39 °C, if strain exposure is high. This temperature is tolerated without harming the body. It is a controlled hyperthermia.

We care4

Team streetkids is a project  launched by the the Swiss non-profit organization we care4 founded by Sven Hungerbühler and his wife. The team streetkids puts triathlon sport into the service of a good cause.

While for our kids is mainly well cared for or if this is not the case, social networks take over, in many part of the world children between 3 and 4 already fight a tough fight for survival in the streets.
