Kona 2015, our\u00a0emotions, a very personal perspective<\/strong>
\nThe two weeks here on the Big Island have been hard work for Kjell and myself. Race day was another huge enterprise for us. You may not understand, but I didn\u2019t feel of going there at all. Of course, I did go and overcame my voice inside.<\/p>\n

I spent hours on the highway with the bike, two Gopros and and my Sony camera. Meanwhile Kjell fought his way through to the finish line. I got toasted slowly slowly in the energy lab while Kjell got squeezed among the crowds.<\/p>\n

And then, what usually happens, if the results of the guys you are with for so many years, don\u2019t manage to perform the way they wanted, you fall into a certain lethargic way of being. No endorphins, no adrenalin is released anymore. Your tank that hasn\u2019t been refueled quite well before the race gets completely depleted.<\/p>\n

Even though we didn’t give up…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We kept in mind why we came to the Big Island…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kjell and I finished our job, as we are very disciplined persons, but the feeling after was shallow. And I was confirmed in my feeling that things wouldn\u2019t work out the way we hoped.<\/p>\n
