It\u2019s where you go every morning for your swim training which can be quite an experience of a wild water swim. The swell can be incredible high on some days.<!--more--><br \/>\nOn the other hand it\u2019s the spot where you meet \u00bbfriends and foes\u00ab from all over the world, and it\u2019s a kind of catwalk where athletes show their perfect bodies, where they scrutinize and assess the shape of their competitors, it\u2019s a kind of marketplace actually.<br \/>\nThe amazing thing about the Pier is that it has two totally different side. The one I just described above on its left: hectic and swarming with people, and the right part, where fishermen, mainly Hawaiian and Japanese are waiting peacefully for catching their meals.<br \/>\nThe Piers middle is rather empty, it feels like a demarcation line, the two worlds interestingly enough do not mingle.
