Even though it has to give lots of room to oil and gas refineries and US military bases. There is not much place left for dreams!<br \/>\nWe crossed the desert on our way to the Tree of Life, a living monument and pride of the tiny country. Pipelines cross the desert everywhere and in-between the workers&#8217; settlements tucked away in the sand.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One is tempted to judge and say that the big oil companies took the easy way out and didn\u2019t put their pipes underground.
