{"id":8671,"date":"2009-04-01T06:53:21","date_gmt":"2009-04-01T05:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biestmilch.com\/blog\/?p=165"},"modified":"2016-04-30T10:34:05","modified_gmt":"2016-04-30T09:34:05","slug":"north-of-santa-monica-with-the-bike-on-mulholland-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biestmilch.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/01\/north-of-santa-monica-with-the-bike-on-mulholland-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"North of Santa Monica with the bike on Mulholland Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a bike day. <a title=\"Macca\" href=\"http:\/\/chrismccormack.com\">Chris<\/a>, Jonathan from <a title=\"Jonathan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.saltstick.com\">Saltstick<\/a> and my dear <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ironhamburger.com\">Kjell<\/a> went on the bike into the mountains North of Santa Monica, a beautiful landscape, so lonely and peaceful as one would not expect it so close by to one of America&#8217;s major cities. It was a warm and clear day, LA county showed us its best side. The area reminds me a lot of the South of France, we passed Malibu, yeah, all these places you may know from the movies, they all seemed so familiar to me for this reason.<br \/> Thanks to Derek I could follow the guys with my cameras in the car. Derek was a wonderful companion, so on top of my work I had fun too. I was so focused on the job that I did not even realize that the police was chasing us. Derek drove too slowly so I could catch the guys with my camera, but annoying the police. It is taking a little bip longer because of the many things going on all day.
