\"IMG_1716\"<\/a>Our goal was and still is to reach the turnaround buoy of the 3.8 k swim course of the IRONMAN world championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.<\/p>\n

We thought that, while we didn\u2019t succeed yesterday to launch the longboard with which we intended to reach the buoy, we might be able to manage to enter the water by swimming there without any devices today, only the GOPRO cameras with us. Around 8:00am in the morning we got down from our mountain refuge to the Halu beach at Alii Drive to retry. Again it was high tide, the waves rough, the reef just underneath our bodies. Simply scary. The Pacific Ocean again taught us its lesson today.<\/p>\n

Respectfully we withdrew from our endeavor. But we didn\u2019t give up yet. Tomorrow we try again, this time with Carl Koomoa. He is from the island and has all the currents, rocks and stones engraved in his body since he was a young boy.
I am still wondering whether we are going to make it with his help.<\/p>\n
