Cold and stormy weather was not the only challenge on this ride over the vast pastures of the Dahana Ranch. A\u00a0thunderstorm with bolts and lightenings right above us gave the situation\u00a0even more suspense\u00a0beside the fact that all of us were\u00a0completely unexperienced when it came\u00a0to riding a horse.\u00a0As you can imagine, the bike-riding skills of our top triathletes were not of any help under these conditions.<!--more--><br \/>It was a day so cold that the slopes up to the Mauna Kea were covered with snow.
