<\/a>The last years of this race have been kind of a roller coaster journey. This year it seemed to have returned back into calmer waters. One reason why I expected an enjoyable race. Additionally, Sebastian and Andi racing added spices to this day.<\/p>\n

We arrived at the race venue the day before to get all our things in place as we had planned to take the bike out on the course, a hilly not easy profile to ride for a non-rider.<\/p>\n

All GoPros in place, the SONY camera in the backpack, the iphone in the pocket, everything ready for our multimedia session next day, with me Harry and Ralf, loyal companions since years.<\/p>\n

Our path lead us to the Spindelberg and back to the finish line. Whether our footage will be okay only Fritz can tell during the next days. We really tried hard to capture our to protagonists Sebi and Andi who were in front of the came right from the beginning.<\/p>\n

The job is done, the joy is great.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

When I arrived at the finish line and had myself squeezed in right at the inflated arch of the finish line a mixture of fatigue and joy made the situation very emotional for me. It was clear that Sebastian was going to win and Andi would be second, no doubt at all. I think I rarely saw so many BIESTs at a time, what an exposure!<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was breathtaking, Sebi and Andi had a radiance that was so special, it was like they were dancing behind the finish line, two guys who like each other, who know each well, and respect each other, a very special moment for me.<\/p>\n
