Last week I gave a lecture on chronic inflammation and the therapeutic approach of immune modulation in Eckernförde, Northern Germany. I flew from Vienna to Hamburg, took the bus to Kiel, and, was picked up by Arne, one of the supporting pillars of the tiny Biestmilch team.
I love this place for its special shrimps. Dark bread, shrimps with scrambled egg, you should give it a try if you are there.
In Vienna, I was working on an installation presenting the scientific controversies on allergy. I was really in a rush trying to get everything finished in time. I made it. You can see it there in the city center at Museum’s Quartier till July 15, 2006. Excuse me, I went of track. But this is how I am currently feeling, confused and trying to handle to many threads, leads?
Okay, then, I jumped on stage in Eckernförde, felt like an alien, and talked to a lot of people. I lost control of my words. When I left the stage exactly on time, I felt miserable. I thought I gave a very bad lecture. But you know what, people where thrilled, impressed, gave me a fantastic feedback, thanks to all of you.
The difference between self-assessment and external perception is tremendous.
Inflammation and its modulation is the basic mode of action of Biestmilch. For whatsoever you might use it.
You will hear about that more, if you want.
