Sebastian until now raced only two long distance races. Last year it was Challenge Roth, where he got only beaten by Andreas Raelert, and became first rookie under 8 hours. This year it were the European Championships in Frankfurt. Only Marino who has already heaps of experience on this distance was able to outrun Sebastian.
Sebastian is an outstanding talent, rather unknown in the United States. We think it’s time that he gets more known outside Germany and Europe. Sebastian is 28 years old, can be as a charming as an edgy personality. I see him as kind of a warrior among the young triathletes, he loves to be outspoken about his goals, and is not afraid to antagonize, and loves strong competitor. He feels not scared but challenged.

With racing Vegas and Hawaii this year it will be the first time that he will be exposed to a really huge audience. We are curious to see how he will be able to deal with this pressure and keep our fingers crossed. Sebastian is with Biestmilch 4 years now, and Biestmilch gave a lot more stability in his performance
