I was a customer of Amazon.com right from the beginning – was it in the mid nineties? – really, I don’t remember. Now, of course, out of economical reasons, I became a Amazon.de customer. In those days back then I spent a hell of a lot of money on freight to get the stuff here. Impatient – as I still am – I chose DHL, delivery guaranteed within 3 working days.
These days I bumped into a note posted by Andy Wibbel announcing the opening of create space by Amazon. I like the idea of create space, because actually, we produce a lot here at biestmilch.com. I’m wondering whether CreateSpace is limited to amazon.com.
CreateSpace is the new name of Amazon’s on-demand self-publishing service for the super long tail of books, audio CD’s and film DVD/Blue-ray. Products automatically get an ISBN number and are listed on Amazon.com, including “Search Inside” for books.
