This weekend I spent at the biggest triathlon longdiostance event in Europe, the »Challenge Roth”. I am still tired. It was a consuming weekend with a lot of bike riding and sun on top which a creature like me sitting at my macIntosh most of the day is not used to.
Myself, on the bike

I shall spare you the details on the race. If you are interested in the results you can get them from www.tri2b.com. Despite a navel piercing puncturing his tyre, and, like this loosing 6 minutes on Faris al Sultan, Chris won the race.

In the midst of the race he was on the edge to give in and let it go. But then, his unbelievable strong will decided the other way around and he went for victory. But it was no walk-over. Faris and the piercing made it hard to win. He only scantly missed the under 8 hours margin.
Thanks to Faris too at this point for such an exciting race.
