Yesterday morning we arrived in Sydney. We had an awesome flight on the Airbus 380, great service with Singapore Airlines, good movies, but no sleep. It was clear, that the aftermath of this sleepless night would show during the day. Chris picked us up at the airport and slowly we all realized that again we had a problem with our flights. (Chris was already on another flight from Singapore to Sydney). He was going to fly to Honolulu today and we on Friday. In Cronulla, Sydney we went to one of the best baristas world-wide and had a really very very strong coffee to reanimate our tired bodies und worked out a new flight schedule for the three of us. Okay, what choice did we have! We changed the booking, which took us annoying 3 hours. Now, we leave from Sydney today and fly to Honolulu, next day we leave for Kona where Chris is racing Lavaman on Sunday.
We have been at a highly decorated barista in Cronulla, a really tough Italian guy who sets the rules on how you have to enjoy his coffee. I had a dopio, and was immediately strictly cautioned by him that I have to drink it hot. You have the impression if you don’t follow his advice he feels personally insulted. By no means I wanted to do so 😉 … So I drank my dopio very hot, burned my tongue and said, grazie tante, ciao…
>burnt my tongue>

by the way ,I hate hot drinks too -:))
good further traveling
