On Friday before the race we had organized an autograph session with those biest athletes racing in Frankfurt: Chris McCormack, Nicole Leder, Yvonne van Vlerken, and Frank Vytrisal. The success was huge. Instead of cards we had prepared swim caps for signing. I think people loved it. The cue waiting was long. A great atmosphere. After more than an hour there were still people patiently waiting. At 8:00 pm we had to close down because the athletes were expected on stage at the Pasta party.
