Ironman 70.3 New Orleans, confusion in transition

As I already mentioned, last Sunday, April 17, was an incredible cold and stormy day in New Orleans. So the swim got canceled. Nobody of the pros had welcome this decision. The organizers offered 2 choices, to start the race with a short run around the transition area, followed by a mass start on the bike, or a time trial-like start with 30 seconds between each pro. It was then jointly agreed upon between organizer and pros to go for the TT start.

Terenzo was number one that made the race tactics difficult for him not being able knowing his position in the race when he went on the run, still in first position.
Sebastian was number 22. For him it was easier to assess where he was in the race. Only Dirk Bockel who entered the race with number 41 was a threat in his back not knowing what to expect from him.

Today we know that Sebastian Kienle won his first race in the US, and that T came in 5th. Yvonne van Vlerken, our quick Dutch girl was happy with her race too, she achieved place three.

This short video clip shows the atmosphere in transition before voting, everybody seems a little irritated and in somehow lost.
