Chris meets with triathlete Timothy Marr in Honolulu, a young guy he likes to train with. It is the third leg of our breath-taking journey around the world. We are here for two days before we head off for Kailua Kona tomorrow where Chris is racing Lavaman on Sunday, so does Timothy. It was a day on which we all have been very tired having just arrived from Sydney after a flight of 10 hours crossing the international date line.
Chris and Timothy did a short ride on the bike while I passed out on my hotel bed after lunch. When Chris called me around 4:00 pm I was lost
in time and space and only slowly slowly reganed my consciousness. We continued the day at Boca’s bike shop where Tim gave a coaching lesson. Chris, Kjell and myself were just hanging around before we went to solve Chris’ telephone problems at AT&T. At the end of the day we were so lucky to get dinner for free at a Jaguar car dealer directly opposite to the bike shop.
