Our journey to Fuerteventura

Normally a flight to Fuerteventura takes 4 hours. Our arrival was scheduled for 10:00 am (Germany is one hour ahead of the Canaries). But our journey took a totally different path. We made this trip to meet some of our biest athletes who are currently polishing their bodies for the start of the season. We met Sebastian Kienle, Yvonne van Vlerken, Meike Krebs and Nicole Leder, and bunch of other triathletes, who attended the Hannes camp. Our main goal was to collect some footage of our athletes.

Fritz and I got up at 4:30, left home at 5:30. It was snowing, the roads were covered with snow and I felt like being in a skiing resort. The freeway was slippery and morning traffic already had left its scars behind, various cars had ended up damaged in the roadside ditch. I was nervous, and afraid to miss the flight. If I knew what was laying ahead of us, I would have been more than relaxed or would have had cancelled the whole trip right away…

In the beginning everything went smoothly. We had checked in the evening before. So we just had to pass the security check. Early morning nobody was cuing, and we were optimistic and in a fairly good mood. Shortly before the scheduled departure we had settled ourselves into the tightly packed flight, and tried to stay calm and accept our destiny for the next 4 and a half hours. The time of the scheduled departure passed by, nothing happened…

Susann

Susann

Susann is the biest prototype and head of the team. She is Austrian, has studied medicine, meaning she is a medical doctor and the Biesters' alpha wolf. Susann continuously produces new ideas, is strong in making concepts and is practically always ON FIRE. Without her BIESTMILCH wouldn't be where and what it is today, and anyway - not possible.
