The streets of Haikou have been full of various kinds of vehicles. One of them we tried out when we took the wrong bus and ended up in the wrong quarter of the city. Courageously we jumped on a tuc-chi-tuc-chi as we used to call the vehicles that were a kind of rikshaw with a motorcycle in front instead of a bike.
These guys on these motocycles go really fast, they change lanes, don’t care about one-way streets, don’t respect cars… If you sit in the rear, you experience pure excitement, no doubt. Our first trip through the night of Haikou left us behind fully awake 😉
