Since we have been distributing a lot of Biest Booster Race packages during the last weeks we thought you may be interested in the very own experience of our athletes as there are the biest boys Chris MACCA McCormack, Terenzo Bozzone, Sebastian Kienle and Ronnie Schildknecht, and the biest girls Yvonne van Vlerken, Nicole Leder, Edith Niederfriniger and Meike Krebs.
On Biestmilch’s other blog “The Pulp of Biestmilch” you will find more details on the product, its history and ingredients, and some words on Guarana and caffeine as such.

Chris McCormack
“For me the booster is a product I use specifically for my harder training sets. It has a kick to it so for the late afternoon training sessions when I have acquired some fatigue post my morning sessions, and I am looking to have the punch, I take a Booster about 1 hour prior. It just picks me up and gives me that sustained “up” feeling that allows me to keep the quality in my sessions that are key. They are a very powerful training tool, and the taste can put people off initially, but I cannot fault them as a pick me up. The caffeine release from Guarana is sustained and therefore the spikes you get from coffee are not there, so I feel more in control during the session both physically and mentally. This is key.
Under a racing environment, especially with my shift to short course events, I have started using the Booster prior to the race itself. I take one about 60 minutes prior to the start. The Booster has a punch, so it is awesome for nailing that swim in my situation. I need to be alert, ready and clear in my head. Well worth giving them a try.”

Yvonne van Vlerken
“The booster for me is in somehow an emergency tool. During my everydy routine I only use boosters, if my energy level feels very low, and despite I want to perform properly during training. A good example is the early morning, when a swim session is waiting for me, and my eyes are still wide shut. Then for me a booster is exactly the right thing to take.
I take a booster round about 30 minutes before the start of a race.
The booster for me works also well, when I want to fight the jet lag. When I have to travel to the US, the booster helps to get into a rhythm again faster than without. For me the booster is definitely a jet lag  remedy.

Terenzo Bozzone
The Booster gives me that extra pick me up when I am feeling low on energy, or before a big workout or race. I find the mix of Colostrum and Guarana is perfect for helping you get through tough training sessions and increases the rate in which I can recover from these workouts. The high dosage of Colostrum in the Biestmilch Boosters supports my immune system to help ensure my body is always recovered and ready to go.”

Nicole Leder
“I take Boosters during my training as follows:
30 – 45 minutes before an intensive run session
15 minutes before the first set of intervals on the bike
15 minutes before an early morning swim
When I feel tired  on a long bike ride I take a booster. I made really good experiences, if I take the Booster in combination with food.
Race: I take a Booster 30 minutes before the race starts”

Sebastian Kienle
“For me the booster is perfect, if after a long training session in the morning I want add another at noon and in the evening. In these cases I am often quite tired already, then the booster for me really kicks in nicely. In winter or in the training camps, when the immune system is extremely exposed I support it with boosters.
I take the booster too, if I am traveling and have to overcome my jet lag, or on long car drives the booster serves me well.
In spring when I do long bike rides and try not to use too many carbs, the booster works perfectly to stimulate my metabolism. In these situations I donn’t one booster at a time, but take little bites.”

Edith Niederfriniger
“I don’t take the booster as regularly as I take the chewies. The chewies I take every day, the booster I take under special conditions. Swim training is always in the early morning, I don’t have breakfast before and on those days, when I feel still tired and the motivation is low, I take the booster.
On longer bike rides I take a booster with me. It helps to keep up the concentration on the second half of the ride.
And of course, I take a booster before a race, 20 minutes before the start.
Beside sport I take boosters, if I am very tired, and have to go on a long trip or flight. Then the booster is really helpful to stay awake.”

Ronnie Schildknecht
“I take the booster between two training sessions. If the body is tired after the session, the booster helps me to get on sped during the second session.
In training camps I take the booster every morning after breakfast, or I take it on my bike rides and take half way. That gives me energy for the rest of the ride.”

Meike Krebs
“I always take a Booster in the morning in transition before a race. Then I always take a Booster with me on my long bike rides and take after one to 2 third of the ride depending on how I feel. Before the Ironman race in Frankfurt I did not feel so weel, therefore I took a Booster every morning to minimize the risk of getting sick. During race week I reduced the the amount to have an optimal impact on race morning. So, that’s my way to do it. Otherwise I take two chewies daily.”

Susann

Susann

Susann is the biest prototype and head of the team. She is Austrian, has studied medicine, meaning she is a medical doctor and the Biesters' alpha wolf. Susann continuously produces new ideas, is strong in making concepts and is practically always ON FIRE. Without her BIESTMILCH wouldn't be where and what it is today, and anyway - not possible.
