I ON AIR – first outing 😉
Last Friday was not a Friday ending with a TGIF, more a black Friday with a huge wave of an unpleasant jobs heading towards me. Health claims are not allowed for foodstuff. Of course, I know that. It is a very controversial topic, but to discuss it, does not make any sense. I have to restructure and reword our BIESTMILCH universe, no way out of this.
The authorities rule you. Believe me, this territory is covered underground by hidden mines you may step on at any time.
It’s an area where I once and again realized what it means to be confronted with interpretations, viewpoints and mindsets beyond my very control. Language is a very soft tool, you never know whether you meet the rules and regulations with your new wording. I spent a week with tossing and turning each word several times, and I still do it, not sure whether a overlooked “rule bullet” may hit me again soon.
You always walk the line when talking about food, and you never know when tipping over into the ditch again.
My first reaction to all this happening last Friday was a mixture of frustration, angriness, sadness and moodiness.
But I recovered quickly, decided to do this talk and see the positive side of it. While I started to redo the biestmilch.com website, my conclusion in the end is: it was a change to the better. So, I am happy today!
