It was definitely Chris Lieto’s day and nobody else’s, but even though the results may have been disappointing for the individuals, it was a special day for our biest athletes. The team spirit they displayed was just terrific. Each of them struggled in his own way, be it Terenzo with his Achilles, Ronnie with Oceanside in his legs, Sebastian with his self-expectation and his bike, and Daniel with his pacing after a long break of not racing.
In the end we all left Galveston in a good mood with positive memories, and delightful future perspectives.
