Checking in for Ironman China is different to other Ironman races. It was a very peaceful atmosphere, nobody seemed excited or stressed, especially not the Chinese staff. They just couldn’t care less. They did their job, and were not infected by the triathlon fever yet. That has got the advantage, that the athletes have been cooler as well.
