Ironman Germany European championship will be on only 10 days from now. Even though, everybody tends to rush forward I think it is worthwhile to take the time and look back at this race because it was an extraordinary competition for both, Chris “MACCA” and Yvonne. Yvonne won this race against Erika Csomor in a sprint finish that will be remembered in history books about triathlon like the one in Roth 2003 between Macca and Lothar Leder.
Chris too had an excellent race, even though he had to give in to Filip Ospaly on the very last section of the run. This meant second place in St. Poelten. All of us enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in St.Poelten. They have a great team there running the race.
