Chris McCormack & Sebastian Kienle about their early season fitness and about how they use Biestmilch

We just posted our recommendations of use. Maybe you are interested how our 2 world champions Chris and Sebi currently train and how they integrate Biestmilch into their training.

Chris “MACCA” McCormack

 1. How do you currently feel, how is the training progressing? (for example, have you been sick, did you have weight problems, was motivation an issue, on a scale between 1 to 10 where would you see actual fitness etc…, how much time do you calculate to be fully fit …)

I am currently about 75% fit. It is early season and I’m just building some fitness. I have a scheduled early season long distance race which has forced my hand on training a little but overall, all is good.

2. Please, specify your current Biestmilch intake (amount, frequency); is this the regimen during a training camp or is this a pre-race regimen?

Chewables – 3 per day. This is pretty standard for me.

3. How does your recovery day look like?

A complete day of rest. I do absolutely nothing. I tend to occupy my time with things around the house but training-wise I do nothing. I drink coffee and chill out.

4. Please provide us with some snap shot from your daily routines

5:15am am wake up – 5:30am swimming – 7:30am breakfast with the kids – 9am riding
1pm – Lunch and relax at home
5pm running – 7:30pm dinner

I would say everything went nearly perfect right now. I’m almost a little bit afraid to say so because usually I struggled at this time of the year. But maybe that these mental and motivational issues kind of down-modulated my fitness in way that I did not feel in a good shape at this early time of the season. I don’t want to argue about that 🙂 I think by now I’m at 6.5 out of 10 right now. I will be at  nine by the end of April. I have a lot of time to work on the basics this year due to my late start into the racing season this year.

2. Please, specify your current Biestmilch intake (amount, frequency); is this the regimen during a training camp or is this a pre-race regimen?

Right now my daily routine is a chewy tablet a day and a biest booster in a lot of special situations. For example before my second training session on a big volume day. I often take a nap after the first session and feel tired. The booster helps a lot but doesn’t give me sleeping problems after the last session compared to coffee or energy drinks. This time of year is also travel time for me, and I like the booster during long car drives or after a long flight.

3. How does your recovery day look like?

Right now I often have to do a lot of office work on the “off” days. But I try to sleep a lot and try to get away with all the stress factors before the rest day. Right now I’m not doing full rest days so I always do a short session but usually not longer than 50 min with a stretching session afterwards.

Susann

Susann

Susann is the biest prototype and head of the team. She is Austrian, has studied medicine, meaning she is a medical doctor and the Biesters' alpha wolf. Susann continuously produces new ideas, is strong in making concepts and is practically always ON FIRE. Without her BIESTMILCH wouldn't be where and what it is today, and anyway - not possible.
